ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
NEW AUTHOR’S PROJECT OF DENIS EVTIKHIEV “SEVEN WINDS”
From 7 to 16 December 2018 the LIBRA exhibition hall invites you to visit the new author’s project of Denis Evtikhiev “Seven Winds”
Denis Vladimirovich Evtikhiev “E.Denis” is a modern figurative artist. During 25 years of search the author combined the compositions of abstract painting and realism: from completely abstract spatial forms to photorealism. The photorealistic style of the artist, well known in the USA, was presented around the world by the American art publishing house Bruno Publishing. In Europe, the romantic realism of Denis Evtikhiev in the “retro” style is presented by the publisher from the Netherlands “Sjatin ART bv”. Denis is also a member of the Artists Trade Union of Russia.
In the work of Denis, the image of a woman is important: a typical for the author’s works is the revelation of a woman as a fantasy that inspires a male artist. However, Denis remarks: “The moment when I was fed up with “ typicalness ”and“ traditionalism ” came, I wanted “to bully ”,“to break ”: firstly take the model, and then think out an image of her, create an impression. I took them. Busy, exacting, not simple, but WOMEN! Beautiful, extraordinary, exciting … It’s like stealing the most expensive diamond in the world. It is impossible to sell it. So all you can do is to admire myself and, only sometimes, to show the closest and most reliable friends that you are, my dear viewers.”
Denis Evtikhiev will present his new project “Seven Winds” for your attention. Seven models that gave rise to seven images. Seven winds. And if the wind itself is freshness, unpredictability and inconstancy, cold and heat, then the seven winds are elements! Female element!
Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 13.00 to 17.00 throughout the exhibition you have a unique opportunity to meet in person with the author.
You can also purchase any of the more than 40 paintings of the artist.
